Looking for a job? U.S. Census is looking to fill jobs in Allegheny Co.

PITTSBURGH — Looking for a job? The U.S. Census Bureau is looking to fill hundreds of thousands of jobs across the country, including in Allegheny County.

The temporary positions for the 2020 Census offer flexible hours, competitive wages that are paid weekly and reimbursement for expenses like mileage.

The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring several different positions, from census takers to field supervisors, clerks and operations supervisors.

Many of the jobs are expected to last several weeks, but could end or be reduced because of lack of work.

In Allegheny County, the salary ranges from $21.00 to $23.50 an hour.
