GREENSBURG, Pa. — A man accused of sexually assaulting two girls is in custody after being sought by police in Westmoreland County.

Greensburg Police obtained an arrest warrant for Naim Ballard, the department posted on Facebook Thursday morning.

According to detectives, the two girls, 15 and 17-years-old, came forward to a guidance counselor saying they were raped by Ballard. It allegedly happened inside a home on Russell Avenue where Ballard had been staying.

Police said Ballard has been frequenting the Greensburg area, but is from the Philadelphia area.

The 15-year-old victim told police several people were drinking and listening to music inside the home. She went to lay down and said Ballard came in and forced himself on her – as she kept telling him to stop.

The 17-year-old victim was also at the house that same night but went home. Police said Ballard contacted her a few days later to talk about what happened with the other victim.

She said he offered her something to drink, and Ballard allegedly admitted to putting pills in it.

The girl said she felt sick and weak, and Ballard sexually assaulted her. She told police Ballard said if she told anyone, he would shoot her.

Ballard is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, corruption of minors and terroristic threats.
