PITTSBURGH — A man accused of setting fire to an unmarked police vehicle near PPG Paints Arena during rioting in downtown Pittsburgh in May is now facing new charges.
Police said Devin Montgomery, 24, turned himself in on Thursday for state charges.
Montgomery is charged with receiving stolen property, burglary, riot, disorderly conduct, obstructing highways or other public passages and scattering rubbish.
These are in addition to the federal arson charges he is facing.
Montgomery is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.
Devin Montgomery turned himself in to DAAT investigators to face multiple state charges related to his involvement in criminal activities during the May 30 protest downtown.
