BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A police chase through three states, which started in Pittsburgh, ended in Ohio with one man arrested.
Pittsburgh police said they responded to a report of a stolen work truck taken from a construction site near Station Square around noon Monday.
The truck was seen driving down West Carson Street at high speed.
Officers tried to stop the vehicle along Ridenour Avenue, but the driver took off, and an officer fired a weapon.

The driver made their way onto Interstate 376 westbound and then Interstate 79 southbound, hitting speeds in excess of 80 mph.
From Washington, the driver ended up going on Interstate 70 into Ohio County, West Virginia. The chase continued down I-70, and the driver kept going and entered Ohio on Interstate 470. This is where the chase ended not too far from St. Clairsville.
Multiple agencies, including Pittsburgh police, were involved in catching the driver.
He has been identified as Shad Boccella.
The 24-year-old is in the Belmont County Jail in Ohio on fleeing and eluding charges. He’s facing charges in Pittsburgh as well.
Channel 11 found out he was arrested twice over the weekend.
Bocella began his crime spree on Saturday.
Police said he assaulted two women in a parking lot on East Carson and stole a car they were washing. He abandoned the car a couple of streets away.
Moments later, police began getting calls about the same man attempting other thefts.
Police got reports of a theft in progress near a restaurant in the South Side. The suspect ran away when he saw them but didn’t get far. He was arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
Not long after Bocella was released from jail on Sunday, he was back at it again.
Police said he stole a bike from someone on a bridge in McKeesport, rode into Versailles Borough and then tried to jump into a boat that was being towed away.
Police said Bocella was high on meth.
He was arrested and taken back to the Allegheny County Jail. He was released again Monday morning.
