WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Police have made a second arrest in connection with the shooting death of a Penn Hills student in Wilkinsburg.
Daeshaun Smith, 19, was arrested Tuesday morning on 10th Street in New Kensington, police said.
Smith tried to run from police but K-9 units were waiting nearby and helped take him into custody.

Smith is accused of shooting Darin Hobdy, 17, along Vantine Street in May.
Smith is facing several charges including homicide and conspiracy.
Another man, Deontae Nalls, is also charged with Hobdy’s death.
