PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a Children Youth and Family Services worker when she arrived at a home in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
“The CYF official called 911 after she was assaulted by a male inside while she was trying to perform her duties,” said Maurice Matthews, public information officer for Pittsburgh police.

She and a 7-year-old child got out safely and then called 911. The SWAT team arrived along North West Avenue.
Officers believed the man was barricaded inside the home with a woman and a 2-year-old child, but when they searched the house, the man was gone.
Police haven’t released any information about the man, but we are in contact with officials and will let you know when there’s an update.
