EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. — A man called 911 for help after he was shot multiple times early Wednesday morning in East Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State Police said.
About six to eight gunshots were heard just before 3 a.m. near the Sunoco gas station at the intersection of Bessemer and Grandview avenues, according to authorities.
Shortly after police were alerted to the gunshots, the man who was shot called 911 from a nearby home, police said. Paramedics were called to take him to a hospital.
His condition has not been released.
Police had part of Grandview Avenue closed at Center Street until shortly before 5:30 a.m. Evidence markers were placed outside a building.
No arrests have been made.
