Man carjacked at gunpoint in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are looking for two men wanted for carjacking a man at gunpoint in the Sheraden section of the city Thursday night.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification along Ashlyn Street just before 10 p.m.

Officers found a shell casing, then emergency dispatchers contacted them about a man who had just left the area, but wanted to talk to police.

The man said he was held at gunpoint by two men who fired a shot into the ground and stole his car.

Officers later found the car in a ditch along Shadeland Avenue in Marshall-Shadeland.
