PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting in Oakland.
The victim, identified as Esam Tanzim Hossain, 23, died after he was shot in the head around 12:30 a.m. on April 1.
Hossain was found after police received a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls about shots fired in the 300 block of Meyran Avenue.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No one else was hurt in the shooting, but a car was struck by rounds, according to investigators.
Two weeks later, investigators said the suspected shooter turned himself in.
Devlin Clifford, 20, of Clairton, turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Clifford is charged with Criminal Homicide and Criminal Conspiracy. He is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
