Minutes later, the victim walked into Allegheny General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, officials said.
The victim is listed in critical condition, officials said.
McKees Rocks Councilman Joe Mixter lives near the scene of the shooting and was getting ready to shower when a stray bullet passed just inches away from him.
"At first, I thought something fell off of the shelf or something, the ceramic. I didn't know what it was. Then I see the bullet hole in my bathroom wall that went all the way through this wall, through the bedroom and through the bathroom wall," he said.
The victim arrived to the hospital in a red Dodge Durango SUV with two juveniles, who were detained by police.
