O'HARA TWP. — A man was killed after being pinned by industrial equipment in O’Hara Township on Friday.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Jason D’Alicandro, 43, of Pittsburgh. D’Alicandro was taken to UPMC Presbyterian where he later died.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at Alpha Aeromatics in the 200 block of Alpha Drive. Allegheny County police said the man was struck by an industrial tote containing 330 pounds of liquid.
The investigation has been turned over to OSHA.
