PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating the death of a man who had reportedly fallen several stories off a downtown building Tuesday afternoon.
Officers and medics were called to the scene on Exchange Way, an alley between Liberty and Penn avenues, around 12:15 p.m., where they found a man in his 40s who had apparently fallen from a building in the 900 block of Liberty Avenue.

First responders performed CPR, but the man was declared dead at the scene.
The man’s identity will be released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
