Police had the area blocked off while they gathered evidence from the SUV, which was stopped in the middle of the street.

Flatline Nizzy’s collaboration with Jimmy Wopo was starting to gain traction, according to HipHopDx.com. He’s talked about his criminal past and trouble with law enforcement on social media.

Freeman’s family said his love for rap began at a young age and he was being scouted by a label.

“There’s a lot of talented rappers but my brother was my favorite rapper because I felt everything he said in his music,” his sister told Channel 11. “I just wish it wasn’t the streets that took him. I wish they could’ve made it out of Pittsburgh. I always want to see someone make it out of Pittsburgh. That was my brother’s goal, to get up out of here.”

“When you start having success in our city, you really have to leave here. You can’t really come back here to visit. There is so much hatred. No one wants to see you win in our city,” Freeman’s father said.
