Man found shot, killed near East Liberty Target

PITTSBURGH — A man was found shot and killed near the Target in East Liberty Thursday morning.

Police said it happened around 10:30 a.m. near Larimer Avenue and Broad Street.

When officers arrived, they said they found a man who was shot in the chest and was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said another person injured their hand when he fell after hearing the gun fire, but he refused medical treatment.

Pittsburgh police are still investigating.
