ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. — A man was shot early Tuesday morning along a road in Ellwood City, Lawrence County, police said.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. on Mercer Road, near Cutoff Street.
Police said the man, who was shot multiple times, was found in an SUV that had its windows shot out.
Investigators had Mercer Road blocked off with crime scene tape and at least a dozen evidence markers were placed on the road. The SUV was eventually towed away.

The man who was shot was taken to a hospital, officials said. His condition has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
