HOMESTEAD, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in Homestead.
Around 10:30 a.m., a man in a motorized wheelchair was traveling in the same direction as a pickup truck when the two collided in the 100 block of W. 7th Ave., police said.
The man in the wheelchair, who was not identified, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Homicide detectives and collision investigators are on scene. The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police. No charges have been filed.
No further information was immediately available.
