Man killed while crossing Monroeville street

MONROEVILLE, Pa. — A 32-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing at a Monroeville intersection Wednesday afternoon and later died at a hospital.

It happened at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Coffey Street in Monroeville just before 6 p.m., according to Allegheny County Police.

A 26-year-old man was driving a 1997 orange and black Ford Mustang convertible and was cooperating with the investigation.

Collision Reconstruction and Homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
