Man killed in Pittsburgh neighborhood shooting

PITTSBURGH — A man was shot and killed in the East Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident occurred in the 2400 block of Bracey Drive around 3:30 a.m.

Officers responding to a ShotSpotter notification for multiple shots fired found the man with gunshot wounds and began CPR. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Deontae Napoleon Davis, 27, of Pittsburgh.

There are no arrests or suspects at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
