PITTSBURGH — A man who was questioned by police after a woman was shot multiple times in December was found dead inside a Mt. Oliver home.

Police said George Daniel drove himself to Pittsburgh Police headquarters on Dec. 17 and talked to officers about the shooting of Ladea Terrell on Eastgate Drive.

Terrell died at the hospital on Jan. 1, and while no arrests or charges were filed in connection to her death, police said they were still investigating it as a homicide.

It was the city’s first shooting death of 2020.
