INDIANA, Pa. — Matthew Darby, sentenced to life in prison without parole for the death of Pitt student Alina Sheykhet, will be in court in Indiana County for an unrelated rape case.

Darby is facing several charges including rape, indecent assault and tampering with evidence for the February 2017 incident.
Darby accepted a plea deal Wednesday for the brutal murder of Sheykhet.
