TRAFFORD, Pa. — A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a deadly shooting on a Trafford street.
According to Allegheny County police, homicide detectives learned Jesse Chaz Parks of Verona was responsible for the shooting. He was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property.
Investigators said the shooting happened just after 6 a.m. on Fifth Street Extension. Detectives found 27-year-old Anthony Michael Raymond shot and killed in front of a pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to court documents, police believed Parks might have been in a home along Fifth Street Extension. They found him hiding in the closet of a child’s bedroom without a shirt.
Investigators said he had an active arrest warrant out of the state of Florida. They said he also involved at a shooting at the TGI Friday’s restaurant in Monroeville in August. Police said shell casings from the Monroeville shooting and this incident matched.
