ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A man was stabbed to death by his wife late Tuesday night at a home in Aliquippa, police said.

Angela Hunt, 37, called 911 just before midnight and said she had stabbed her husband, 40-year-old Chad Hunt, and wasn’t sure if he was still alive, according to police. When police got to the home on Return Street, Chad Hunt was found dead upstairs with multiple apparent stab wounds, investigators said.

Angela Hunt was arrested. She is charged with criminal homicide.

According to the criminal complaint, the incident was a result of an argument that turned physical. The document states that Angela Hunt told police that Chad Hunt had pushed her before she got the knife from the kitchen and stabbed him.

The document also states that two weeks prior another argument led to her stabbing Chad Hunt in the chest with the same knife.

“The summer before last, she chased him out of the house with a butcher’s knife. He had a seizure here, right here in the street. A few months ago she was fighting and hitting him with a baseball bat. He would try to run away from her but he still tried to stay there, trying to be a man to take care of his family,” a neighbor told Channel 11 about the couple.
