A Robinson police officer spotted a car speeding away from the bank. Authorities were able to get a description of the robber and the car, the license plate number to which they were able to retrieve using traffic cameras, according to WTOV.
The car was registered in Wintersville, Ohio, where Howard was arrested after Wintersville police stopped his car, WTOV reported.
During a search of the car, a garbage bag containing money was found. Investigators told WTOV $8,000 was recovered, and additional evidence tied Howard to the robbery.
