Man taken into custody after SWAT called to Pittsburgh home

PITTSBURGH — A man was taken into custody after a SWAT team was called to a home in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.

Marcus Quevi is facing charges including terroristic threats, simple assault and burglary.

Police were first called about 9:15 a.m. to East Elizabeth Street for a possible domestic dispute, authorities said.

SWAT officers were called in after police received reports that a man had barricaded himself inside the home, according to authorities. They called multiple times for him to come out.

Quevi was taken into custody about 10:30 p.m. He was booked in the Allegheny County Jail.

No one was hurt, police said.
