Man threatened to shoot every police officer in Millvale, investigators say

RESERVE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Amid the worldwide unrest over police brutality, investigators say a Reserve Township man threatened to shoot every officer in Millvale.

They also found pictures of him posing with weapons.

Reserve Township Police, along with paramedics, were called to a medical emergency at a home last Thursday.

As paramedics were taking the man to the hospital, they say he threatened to shoot police officers.

Tyler Allison, of Reserve Township, was charged with four counts of terroristic threats and harassment. According to the criminal complaint, Allison told a paramedic, “Who is the little cop? I am adding him to my list. I’ve got an AK upstairs. And I’m going to smoke all the Millvale cops. I have a bullet for each one of them.”

Police also found pictures on social media of Allison and several others holding handguns and an AK-47-style rifle with no stock, flashing gang signs with gang-affiliated tattoos and clothing.

Police are aware that Allison and others who live at the residence are anti-police, according to the criminal complaint. They’ve communicated that directly to officers in previous situations, police said.

The Millvale police chief told Channel 11 that he was very familiar with Allison and said his officers never let their guard down when dealing with him.

The Reserve Township police chief called the incident “unnerving.”

As a precaution, the North Hills police SWAT team raided Allison’s home early Saturday and took him into custody.

“Due to the threat of violence towards Millvale Police Officers…and new evidence showing Allison has access to more than just a pistol…officers take this threat to be serious and are concerned that Allison may act upon his threats,” police wrote in the complaint.

Allison was released from the Allegheny County Jail after posting $10,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for next month.
