PITTSBURGH — A man and woman died after they were both shot late Wednesday night in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood, authorities said.
Police were called shortly after 10:30 p.m. for the shooting in the area of Kelly and Collier streets.
The man was found dead, lying next to a car, police said. The woman was in the street and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but later died. She was later identified by the medical examiner as Keirra Harris, 26, of McKees Rocks.
Police said that while Harris was being transported to the hospital, the ambulance she was in had a "collision" with another ambulance.
"The collision did not affect, interfere with or halt treatment to the patient as medics continued administering aid until the new ambulance arrived," Pittsburgh Public Safety PIO Chris Togneri said in an online statement.
Investigators said they do not have any suspects and no arrests have been made at this time.
