BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — A rescue at Moraine State Park turned into a recovery Monday.
Officials found the body of a man who fell through the ice into Lake Arthur.
The temperature rose so much Monday that by the end of the day, there was barely any ice left.
But earlier in the day, park officials told Channel 11 there was about 3 inches close to shore where a man was ice fishing.

The 528 boat launch parking lot was filled with emergency officials and dive teams that descended on Moraine State Park after learning a fisherman fell through the ice while fishing on Lake Arthur.
"A park visitor noticed a man on the ice and then flailing his arms and then falling through," said Dustin Drew, a park ranger.
The man from the Pittsburgh area was about 60 yards from shore.
Park rangers found his gear next to where he was fishing, and eventually they recovered his body close by.

Unionville and Beaver Falls dive teams entered the chilly water, where the temperature was about 32 degrees.
"We go in as a team, we are tethered together," said Jason Tyger with the Beaver Falls dive team. "We stay in about 20 minutes. It is very murky under the water."
Drew said the ice was about 3 inches thick in some areas, but thinner in others.
Officials have not released the man's name yet.
