When Channel 11 crews arrived, smoke and flames were pouring out of the home as crews worked to contain the blaze. The roof partially collapsed, and firefighters said the home is a total loss.
The man who was inside the home made it out safely, and the rest of his family wasn’t there at the time.
The state fire marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the destructive fire, but officials said they believe the fire started in the fireplace.
No one was injured due to the fire.
