BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — The Beaver County district attorney announced 47 additional charges against a man accused of taking disturbing pictures and videos of elderly and juvenile patients at a care facility.

An attorney for the McGuire Memorial Home said the board members are appalled at the allegations.
According to investigators, Zachary Dinell, a former caregiver, took pictures and videos of patients in the nude.

Investigators said Dinell "punched and kicked mentally ill patients in the face" and “rubbed an unknown substance in a patient’s eyes and washed one patient in ice-cold water and choked another."
New Brighton police are still trying to figure out the number of mentally or physically disabled patients who were assaulted.
The attorney for home said its board members met today to discuss progress on determining whether or not there were more caregivers involved.
