PITTSBURGH — A wanted Megan’s Law offender was arrested by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department, officials said.
Clyde Demus, 52, of Homewood was found at an address on South Avenue in Wilkinsburg. Deputies said he was hiding in a first floor bathroom.
Demus was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault and rape in 1994. As part of his sentencing, he must register under Megan’s Law for the rest of his life.
