"I had to cross two streets," Frank said. "I thought somebody was going to kidnap me. They dropped off me at my bus stop; there was nobody there."
Jasmine Kirkland told Channel 11 she didn't know her son had a half-day Tuesday, but said this isn't the first time she's had issues with the Matthews Bus Company in McKees Rocks.

"At the beginning of the year, there was an issue of them letting my son off the bus and no one was there," she said. "They just let them off and they don't see a parent, like they don't care. They let them cross these busy streets by themselves."
Kirkland said her son has even been dropped off at the wrong bus stop.

Channel 11 contacted the bus company about this. They confirmed the incident happened and said the driver has been disciplined.
A statement said, in part: "We are taking this matter very seriously, and we sincerely apologize to our parent. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the anxiety and stress that she must have felt."
Added Kirkland: "You need to know they are getting on your bus, where they are getting off. You need to know their stop. These are people's kids that you're playing with."
The bus company also had to fire a bus driver during the school year for leaving a child on a bus.
