KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Interstate 79 southbound is now open after being closed for several hours while crews dealt with a crash involving a tractor-trailer, dump truck and van which sent at least two people to hospitals Tuesday in Kennedy Township, officials said.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. at the Crafton/Route 60 exit. The tractor-trailer overturned and the dump truck ended up through a guide rail.

It’s unclear which of the three vehicles the injured people were in.
All southbound lanes are closed between Exit 60B - PA 60 North and Exit 59B - I-376 West/Airport.
