BUTLER, Pa. — There were multiple injuries from a car crash on a major road in Butler County Thursday night.
Emergency responders confirmed the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Jefferson Street (Route 68) and Delwood Road in Butler Township.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, and at least two people were taken from the scene to the hospital.
Investigators said one of those victims was rushed to the AGH trauma unit.
The bridge up the road from Butler Memorial Hospital, near the accident, is closed while crews work to clear the area.

What caused the crash is still unclear, and the victims’ conditions were not released.
