MURRYSVILLE, Pa. — Firefighters had a busy night in Westmoreland County, including fighting a fire that destroyed a popular restaurant in Murrysville.
That incident was reported around 3:30 a.m., at Spaghetti and Steakhouse, in the 6300 block of William Penn Highway.
The building was left at a total loss, according to officials. Several fire departments responded and found the building engulfed in flames, according to officials.

No one was in the building at the time.
The restaurant is a family-owned establishment that had been at the location for about 30 years. They posted to their Facebook page that they were thankful for the first responders that helped.
“Its been in their family for generations and we’ve all enjoyed a meal and have memories there, its a local landmark you know turn at the Spaghetti and Steakhouse you say that you know where its at,” White Valley Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief John Bohinc said.
It is still unknown what caused the fire and the fire marshal is investigating.
