WASHINGTON — A New Castle couple charged with participating in the Capital riot is asking for a plea deal.
The FBI charged Philip Vogel and Debra Maimone with theft, knowingly entering a restricted building and violent entry for their actions during the Jan. 6 events.

The government and attorneys for both Vogel and Maimone asked for a 90-day continuance to work on plea negotiations.
According to prosecutors, if found guilty, the couple could face more than one year in prison and a fine of $105,000
Vogel and Maimone are also the owners of Vera General Contracting and Cleaning Services, a McKees Rocks contracting company.
