CONNEAUT LAKE, Pa. — The new owners of Conneaut Lake Park said they are “moving along quickly” with removing broken down structures and starting the park’s cleanup.
In a Facebook post, they have “already removed a great deal of the blighted wood” that caused the park to look “dilapidated and unsightly.” They donated “some wonderful old film footage” to the local historical society that they came across during the cleanup. The owners are also looking at which rides are still safe and which ones will need to be removed. That includes the famous Blue Streak roller coaster.
Additionally, the owners are soliciting advertisers for their water tower.
