7:18 P.M. UPDATE:
The Penn Hills School District announced that the bus stop for Angel Randolph's children will revert back to its original location.
Parents say it’s a long, dangerous walk up and back for their children to catch a Penn Hills school bus at one particular stop.
Angel Randolph says the old stop was much closer.

“There was actually one at this (nearby) stop sign, and then there’s another one at the apartment complex across the street,” she said.
When the bus stop moved to the corner of Alcoma Drive and Saltsburg Road, she couldn’t believe it.
“Saltsburg Road is a very busy intersection, especially at the time they’re going to school and everyone else is going to work,” she said.
Randolph and other parents Channel 11 spoke with said they’re worried about their children’s safety, since they have to walk past a dark wooded area to get to the stop.
“It’s easy for a kid to get snatched up on this street,” said Rico Allen.
Another concern parents have are blind spots in the roadway. They say it’s tough to see children as they’re walking up this hill and they’re worried drivers might not see them until it’s too late.
“If a kid’s walking on that side of the street, these cars come flying down the bend, they’re going to hit one of these kids,” Randolph said.
Channel 11 took those concerns to the Penn Hills School District, which said “the district is working to make our transportation schedule more efficient overall,” but in this case “we are evaluating the situation and reconsidering the move.”
Randolph has made other arrangements so her children don’t have to make this walk every day.
