HARRISBURG, Pa. — Tuesday was a big day for “tipped workers” after the Department of Labor announced new tip regulations.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro was behind the new rules.
Tipped workers, like all workers, deserve a fair day's pay for a fair day's work. My office will continue to fight for the rights of workers in Pennsylvania and, along with @ILAttyGeneral and our other colleagues, for workers nationwide.https://t.co/EMEHilnztS

Tipped workers will now only make the tipped minimum wage when most of their work generates tips, protecting them from wage theft.
It also creates a limit of 30 minutes for non-tipped work.
