MCCANDLESS, Pa. — The North Allegheny School District is going completely virtual starting Thursday and lasting through the rest of the month.
According to the district’s COVID-19 tracker, 87 staff members and 612 students are in quarantine.
Last month, the school board voted to send to allow K-8 students back to class 5 days a week.
Then last week, the decision was made to close the intermediate school today and tomorrow because a student tested positive.
