Norwin School District said school was not dismissed, but dozens of cars could be seen on Route 30 lined up to get to the school, presumably to pick up students.
At about 12:15 p.m., the district said K-9s found nothing and that classes would resume.
North Huntingdon police and the Circleville Volunteer Fire Department are at the school to assist.
