GRAYSVILLE, Pa. — Officials with the National Weather Service confirmed Wednesday that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Greene County during Tuesday's heavy storms.

Viewers sent in a video Tuesday of what appeared to be a funnel cloud in the Graysville area.
"We all have our homes, pretty much property damage," said Megan Hixenbaugh. "We are lucky."

"Very focused area of damage from one hillside to the next, strongest winds 90 mph," said Matthew Kramar, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. "You can see the tornado path of destruction just sheered off all those trees on the neighbor's property."
The team also spent time in other parts of Greene County to determine if damage in the area was caused by a tornado or by straight-line winds.

There were three other confirmed tornadoes in western Pennsylvania: two in Jefferson County and one in Conneautville, Crawford County.
The NWS plans to visit parts of Westmoreland and Venango counties Thursday.
