PITTSBURGH — One person is dead and two others were injured in a crash in the Strip District Saturday.
The crash occurred on Liberty Avenue at 16th Street just before 8:15 a.m.
An SUV on Liberty struck a car turning left from 16th Street, police said.

The female driver of the car was extricated from the vehicle and transported in critical condition, but died at the hospital.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the driver at Pamela McAllister, 48, of Pittsburgh.
Medics transported a male driver and male passenger from the SUV to the hospital in stable condition.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
