One person killed in Penn Hills shooting

PENN HILLS — One person was shot and killed in an incident in Penn Hills Saturday night.

The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Frankstown Road around 10:42 p.m., according to the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit

Police were called to the area and found a 30-year-old man shot in a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as David Moore, of Pittsburgh.

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.
