WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — The Log Jammer may be gone from Kennywood Park, but its memory will live on -- especially for one lucky person who won the auction to take home one of the ride’s original flume boats.

Kennywood officials announced Friday that the piece of history was sold for $7,600 after 59 bids.

The proceeds from the auction will go to Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit resort for kids with critical illnesses, according to park officials.
