The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is warning of an E-ZPass phishing scam.
According to the turnpike's website, some customers might have received an email asking them to update credit card information after failed attempts to collect tolls. It is not an official communication from E-ZPass or the Turnpike Commission.

The Turnpike Commission said it strongly advises people to not open or respond to the email. Questions about the validity of any message from E-ZPass can be answered by calling the PA Turnpike E-ZPass Customer Service Center at 877-736-6727.
