NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Two of the six people accused of helping to hide the man accused of killing Officer Brian Shaw are headed to trial.
Lakita Cain and Taylor Mitchell, a mother and daughter, waived their preliminary hearing Thursday and a judge denied their bond.
Cain and Mitchell are both charged with hindering the apprehension of Rahmael Holt.
Holt is accused of shooting and killing New Kensington police Officer Brian Shaw after a short foot chase last month, investigators said.
Cain and Mitchell denied seeing Holt after the shooting, but later admitted he came to their house that night.
They also claim they don't even know Holt.
Cain also told police that Holt's cousin, Lisa Harrington, came to the house the next day and removed the gun that was used in the shooting.
Harrington is also facing hindering charges. The gun still has not been located.

Holt managed to elude capture for nearly four days.
Investigators said Cain and Mitchell -- along with four others, including Holt's mother, Sherry -- helped Holt while he was on the run.
But, after waving the hearing in court Thursday, Cain's attorney suggested her client didn't know Rahmael Holt by that name and indicated there was confusion over the identity of the man police were searching for.
"She claims she did not know Mr. Holt by his name, but she knew him only by his street name," defense attorney Valerie Veltri said. "There looks like there was some confusion about who, what, where, when and why and I think that will all be sorted out down the road."
