Park in Washington County is celebrating Independence Day by turning lawn into American Flag

CLAYSVILLE, Pa. — A park in Washington County is showing pride on Independence Day by creating a large American Flag in the grass of the park.

According to a post on the East Finley Park’s Facebook page, the flag is 100 feet long and took 8 hours to lay out and 10 hours to paint using 30 gallons of paint.

The park is hosting the 45th Annual Summer Festival and Independence Day Celebration with live music, food, games and activities and a fireworks display.
