The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation lifted the speed limit restrictions that were in place for several roads in multiple counties.
Speeds limits were reduced to 45 miles per hour on all interstates and several other routes in Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence counties due to the winter storms across the region, according to a release from PennDOT.

All speeds are now restored to their normal posted limits, PennDOT said.
PennDOT continues to treat roadways in the area and will do so until they are clear.
