Pennsylvania is home to America’s only all-water cavern & wildlife park

CENTRE HALL, Pa. — Did you know that Pennsylvania is home to America’s only all-water cavern and wildlife park? It’s only about two hours and 45 minutes away from Pittsburgh.

Penn’s Cave offers a fully guided cavern tour by boat, a farm-nature wildlife tour by bus, a cave rock mountain tour, gemstone painting, a maze and more.

Penn’s Cave is also the only cave in Pennsylvania on the National Register of Historic Places, according to its website.

During the wildlife tour, you can see native North American animals such as wolves, bison, Texas longhorn cattle, foxes, bears, elk, whitetail deer, mustangs, bighorn sheep and mountain lion.

Every Saturday and Sunday in December, they are offering a Christmas Lantern Cave Tour.
