A coroner was called to the scene not long after firefighters got to the home.
One person died, but other people inside the home were able to get out, officials said.
“I was just hoping that the people got out safely,” Mark Alviani, a neighbor, said. “The home can be rebuilt, but you can’t replace a life. I was just hoping that everybody got out safely, but it happened so quick.”
A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
